手紙やメール、荷物などを受け取る人のこと。

フォーマルな表現で、手紙やメール、荷物の文脈で使われます。「送り主（sender）」と対になる言葉です。日常会話ではあまり使いません。

封筒に**受取人**の名前をはっきり書いてください。
