অনানুষ্ঠানিক অভিব্যক্তি; চাকরি বা পড়াশুনার ক্ষেত্রে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Ahead of the curve' এর মতো, তবে এখানে গড়ের উপরে পারফর্ম করার ওপর জোর দেয়। গণিতে ব্যবহার করবেন না।
