अतीत में किसी जगह या स्थिति में बड़ी मात्रा में मौजूद होना; किसी चीज़ का बहुत अधिक होना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Abounded' औपचारिक है और आम तौर पर लिखित या वर्णनात्मक भाषा में इस्तेमाल होता है। अक्सर 'with' या 'in' के साथ ('The pond abounded with fish') आता है। केवल भूतकाल में इस्तेमाल होता है; वर्तमान में 'abound' होता है। इसे 'surround' से न मिलाएं।
