“Able” 指有能力、有權力或有機會做某事。

'Able' 常與 'to'+動詞搭配（例如 'able to swim'）。比 'can' 更正式，常見於書面語。有時可指“有能力的”（如 'an able student'）。避免說 'able to can'，只用一種語法。
