最も悪い事態になった場合にどうするかを話すときに使う表現です。

会話的な表現です。「もし最悪の場合は」といった具合に、バックアッププランを話す時によく使います。フォーマルな文章には使いません。

If worst comes to worst, we can call a taxi.

**最悪の場合**、タクシーを呼べばいいよ。
