木のスプーンとは、木で作られた調理用のスプーンです。イギリスなど一部の文化では、“wooden spoon”は競技で最下位になった人も指します。

通常は調理用スプーンだけを指します。英語ではイギリス特有の意味（最下位）があるので注意。日本語には同じ比喩はありません。
