Definition
Bir şeyin içinden hızlı ve düzgün bir şekilde keserek geçmek; genellikle bıçak gibi kesici bir şeyin veya teknenin sudan geçişi için kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Hem gerçek (bıçak, makas) hem de mecaz (ses, hareket) anlamıyla kullanılır. 'slice through the air', 'slice through butter' gibi kalıplarda sıkça geçer. Yavaş veya kararsız kesmeler için kullanılmaz.
