급하게 또는 대충 글씨나 그림을 써서 알아보기 어렵게 만드는 것.

격식을 차린 글씨에는 사용하지 않으며, 주로 아이들이나 급하게 메모할 때 많이 쓴다. '벽에 낙서하다', '메모에 휘갈겨 쓰다' 등.
