أن تنظر بسرعة أو بحذر من خلف أو داخل شيء، بحيث يظهر جزء بسيط منك فقط.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يُستخدم عادةً لوصف شخص أو شيء يظهر جزئياً أثناء المشاهدة بسرية أو فضول ('peek out of the window'). غالباً ما يأتي مع حروف جر مثل 'from behind the curtain'. تعبير غير رسمي ويكثر استعماله في السرد أو الوصف.
