ホール廊下

Definition

建物の中の大きな部屋や、部屋同士をつなぐ廊下のこと。会議やイベント、または入口として使われることが多い。

「ホール」はイベント用の大きな部屋、「廊下」は家や建物内の通路。イギリス英語では「学生寮（student hall）」の意味も。'hole' や 'haul' とは別語。
