বয়স্ক কেউ যদি খুব সুস্থ ও শক্তি-সামর্থ্যে পরিপূর্ণ থাকেন, তখন তাকে বোঝাতে এই বাক্যাংশটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এই শব্দগুচ্ছটি বিনীত এবং কিছুটা পুরান ধাঁচের; সাধারণত প্রবীণদের বর্ণনা দিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'still hale and hearty' বলতে কেউ অনেক বয়সেও সুস্থ আছে বোঝানো হয়। তরুণদের জন্য সচারচর ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
