誰かに気づかれないように、こっそりと行動すること。罪悪感や見つかりたくない理由があるときによく使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルや文学的な場面で使われ、“furtive glance”や“furtive movement”のように使います。軽い秘密にはあまり使いません。
