Definition

突然冷静さを失ったり、感情や精神的に崩れてしまうこと。また、状況が収拾がつかなくなることにも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

インフォーマルな表現で、人や場面がストレスでコントロールを失う時によく使う。「lose it」「fall apart」「freak out」と同じ意味。直訳では使わない。
