Definition

किसी गर्मी और रोशनी (खासकर धूप) में बैठना या लेटना और उसका आनंद लेना। यह किसी उपलब्धि या खुशी का पूरा आनंद लेने के लिए भी कहा जा सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर 'in the sun' या 'in glory' के साथ प्रयुक्त होता है। औपचारिक या साहित्यिक है, दैनिक बोली में कम। यदि किसी उपलब्धि या ध्यान का आनंद है तो 'bask in' का प्रयोग करें, जैसे 'bask in praise'।
