'正気である' とは、その人が精神的にしっかりしていて、状況をよく理解していることです。この表現はカジュアルに使われ、否定形（'not all there'）だと混乱していることを示します。

主にカジュアルで、否定形（'not all there'）が多く、ややぼんやりしている時に使う。肯定形はあまり使われない。精神障害の人には使わないよう注意。

He doesn't seem all there today.

彼は今日**正気である**ように見えない。
