與某人一同搭車，通常是乘客，常用於觀察或協助之情境；也指跟隨警察或工作人員以觀察其工作。

是非正式用語，常用於警察等職場體驗場合，也可泛指一起搭車作觀察或協助的人。不要混淆於“give a ride”（載某人一程）。
