激しい痛みや苦しさのために体をねじったり、のたうち回ったりすること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に文章や説明で使われ、痛みや苦しさの動作を表します。「writhe in pain」は「痛みでもがく」意味。会話ではあまり使われません。
