Definition

망령은 사람이 죽기 전후에 나타난다고 여겨지는 유령이나 혼령이다. 흐릿하고 신비로운 존재를 뜻한다.

주로 문학, 판타지, 공포 소설에서 나오는 표현으로, 일상적인 '유령'보다 신비롭고 음산한 분위기를 줄 때 쓴다. 평소 대화에는 거의 사용하지 않는다.
