髪や煙、雲などのごく細くて軽い一部や筋。やわらかくてこわれやすいものを表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

“wisps”は“髪の毛の筋”や“煙の筋”などに使い、太いものや塊には使いません。繊細なものを表す時に自然です。
