"wishes" in Bengali
Definition
কেউ যা চায় বা আশা করে সেটি। পাশাপাশি কারো সুখ, সাফল্য বা সুস্থতার জন্য শুভকামনা জানানোর কথাও বোঝাতে পারে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'make a wish', 'birthday wishes' প্রভৃতি ফ্রেজ সাধারণ। ব্যক্তিগত ইচ্ছা বোঝাতে বা শুভেচ্ছা জানানোর ক্ষেত্রে আলাদা করে 'ইচ্ছা' বা 'শুভেচ্ছা' বলা হয়।

We sent our best wishes to the new teacher.
