窓とは、壁や車の側面にある、ガラスなどで覆われた開口部で、光や風を取り入れたり外を見るためのものです。

「窓」は数えられる名詞です。「窓を開ける」「窓から外を見る」などと使います。パソコンの「Windows」とは区別します。
