"wind back the clock" in Spanish
Definition
Imaginar o desear regresar a un momento pasado, generalmente para corregir algo o revivir una experiencia. No es literal, sino que significa querer volver a un momento anterior.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa casi siempre en sentido figurado, para hablar de deseos o arrepentimientos. Suele ir con 'si pudiera...' o 'ojalá pudiera...'. No se usa para relojes reales (allí se usa 'atrasar el reloj').
