로프나 케이블을 이용해 무거운 물건을 끌거나 들어올리는 장치입니다. ‘윈치’의 복수형입니다.

주로 배, 트럭, 건설 현장에서 사용됩니다. 'electric winches', 'boat winches' 등과 같이 씁니다. 동사(끌어올리다)와는 구분하세요.
