"who wants to know" in Japanese
Definition
この表現は、質問されたときにすぐに答えたくない場合や、誰が質問しているのか知りたいときに使います。相手によって答えるかどうかが変わることを示します。

カジュアルな場面で使います。親しい人との会話や、相手の意図を確かめたい時に使われます。時には防御的または冗談っぽい語調にもなります。
Examples
"How old are you?" "Who wants to know?"
「何歳ですか？」「**誰が知りたいの？**」
Whenever someone asks him a secret, he replies, "Who wants to know?"
