Definition

'Whirlybird' বলতে মজাদার বা শিশুরা সাধারণভাবে হেলিকপ্টার বোঝায়; এছাড়াও ঘূর্ণায়মান ডানাওয়ালা গাছের বীজকে বোঝাতে পারে, যেমন ম্যাপল গাছের বীজ।

'Whirlybird' খুব আনুষ্ঠানিক নয়, বেশি ব্যবহার হয় শিশুদের মধ্যে বা হালকা কথোপকথনে। 'হেলিকপ্টার' বলতে চাইলে বেশি বড়দের আলোচনা বা অফিসিয়াল কথায় ব্যবহার করা হয় না।
