Definition

「Wast」是英文早期「were」的舊式用法，用於「thou」（你），意思為「你當時是」。現在多見於舊文學或歷史文本中。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

非常過時，只在莎士比亞、欽定本聖經或古詩中出現。'wast' 只和 'thou' 搭配，不能用於現代英語的 'you'。不要和 'waste'（浪費）混淆。
