किसी चीज़ से गंदगी, दाग़ या पदार्थ को पानी या किसी अन्य तरल से हटा देना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Wash off' एक अलग किया जा सकने वाला phrasal verb है: 'wash the ink off your hands' या 'wash off the ink'। पानी से दाग़, गंदगी या रंग हटाने में आम है। 'Remove' से कम औपचारिक। इसे 'wash up' (हाथ या बर्तन धोना) के साथ न मिलाएँ।
