努力爭取或贏得別人也想要的東西；為同一個目標、獎品或關注與他人競爭。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

“Vying”是“vie”的進行式，常與“for”（爭奪某物）或“with”（與某人競爭）連用。比較正式，常出現在新聞、商業、學術場合。不太用於運動或日常小比賽，這時多用“competing”。
