Definition
İnsan veya hayvan konuşurken, şarkı söylerken ya da ses çıkarırken oluşan sestir. Özellikle bir kişinin sesinin nasıl duyulduğuna işaret eder.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle sayılabilen bir isimdir: 'derin ses', 'onun sesi'. Fikir belirtme hakkı anlamına da gelir: 'birine ses vermek'. 'ses' kelimesiyle karıştırılmamalı. Sıklıkla sıfatlarla kullanılır: 'yüksek ses', 'alçak ses', 'ince ses'.
