Definition

『ブラインド（横型）』は、光やプライバシーを調整できるように窓に取り付ける横向きの羽根のカバーを指します。まれに、イタリアのヴェネツィアの人々の意味もありますが、日常ではほとんど使いません。

日常会話では『venetians』はほぼ『横型ブラインド』の意味で使われます。『ヴェネツィア人』の意味はほとんどありません。「close the venetians」や「install venetians」などの表現で使われます。
