「内陸部」とは、海岸や都市から離れた田舎や丘陵地帯など、国内の奥まったエリアを指します。

アフリカや南アジア、カリブ地域の英語でよく使われ、日本語では特に都市や海岸から離れた地域を表します。「田舎」や「内陸部」で十分に伝わります。「アップステート」とは異なります。
