Pensar que algo o alguien es menos importante, menos capaz o menor de lo que realmente es.

Se usa cuando alguien no reconoce la habilidad, valor o la gravedad de una situación. Aparece en contextos formales e informales. Suele ir acompañado de sujetos como 'él', 'ella' o 'todos'. No confundir con 'malinterpretar'.
