কিছু ভুল বা অসম্পূর্ণ তথ্যের জন্য কিছু বিশ্বাস বা ধারণা করা হয়। সাধারণত পরে বোঝা যায় যে ধারণাটি ভুল ছিল।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি আনুষ্ঠানিক ও অনানুষ্ঠানিক কথোপকথনে বহুল ব্যবহৃত। সাধারনত ভুল বা অস্পষ্ট বিশ্বাস বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'আমি মনে করেছিলাম...'। বিস্ময় বা হতাশা প্রকাশ করতেও বলা হয়।
