Definition

別の道や場所に入るために方向を変えること。主に運転の際に使われる表現。

運転や道案内でよく使う。後ろに道の名前が続くことが多い。'turn on'とは異なる意味なので注意。

Turn onto Oak Street at the next light.

次の信号で**オーク通りに曲がって**ください。

You need to turn onto the highway here.

ここで**高速道路に曲がる**必要があります。

I always turn onto Pine Road to get to school.

私はいつも学校へ行くとき**パインロードに曲がります**。
