使某物正常工作的调整过程，特别是使乐器弹奏正确音调，或调节收音机等设备以接收信号。

常常与'汽车调音'、'吉他调音'搭配，指为性能或清晰度做精细调整。不要与'melody'（旋律）混淆。在汽车、音乐设备等领域多为非正式用语。
