Definition

특정 TV 프로그램이나 라디오를 시청하거나 듣는 것, 혹은 무엇에 집중하는 것.

비공식적으로 자주 쓰임. TV나 라디오에 맞추거나, 집중하라는 뜻. "tune in to the news"는 뉴스를 시청/청취하다. "tune in to what she is saying"는 말을 잘 듣다의 의미. 'turn on'과 혼동하지 않도록 주의.

Please tune in to channel 5 at 7 p.m.
