Definition

腫瘤是體內細胞異常生長形成的腫塊。有些腫瘤是良性的，有些則是惡性並可能成為癌症。

「腫瘤」是醫學上常用詞，泛指良性和惡性腫塊，不等於「癌症」。常見說法有「良性腫瘤」、「惡性腫瘤」、「切除腫瘤」。別與「囊腫」（液體囊泡）或單純腫塊混淆。
