髪や草、糸などが集まってできた小さなまとまりやふさのこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に髪の毛、草、羽毛、毛皮などの小さなかたまりを指します。「tufts of hair」「tufts of grass」のように使われ、きれいにまとまった束よりも、自然にできた小さなまとまりに使います。
