足音を立てて重く歩く、または何かを踏みつけること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
『tromp』は砕けた表現で、子供や大勢の音のうるさい歩行に使います。“tromp through the mud”で泥道をドシドシ歩く。『trump』とは別の単語です。
