指走路时脚步很重、很响，有时也指踩踏某物。

“Tromp” 较为口语化，多见于地区性或比较旧的英语，用来形容一群人在地上重重地踩踏，常与“through the mud”等搭配。不要与“trump”（喇叭或胜过）混淆。
