'tread' का भूतकाल; किसी चीज़ पर पैर रखने या चलने के लिए, कभी-कभी जोर या ध्यान के साथ।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

औपचारिक या साहित्यिक शब्द; आम बातचीत में कम इस्तेमाल होता है। आमतौर पर जानबूझकर या किसी सतह पर चलने के लिए ('trod the path', 'trod on my foot')। 'tried' से न मिलाएं। past participle अक्सर 'trodden' होता है।
