Definition

‘অনুবাদসমূহ’ বলতে এক ভাষা থেকে অন্য ভাষায় রূপান্তরিত লেখা বা বিমূর্ত বিষয়কে বোঝায়। এটি মূল লেখা নয়, ভাষান্তরকৃত সংস্করণ বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘Translations’ শব্দটি আনুষ্ঠানিক ও অনানুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ‘accurate translations’, ‘offer translations’, ‘machine translations’ ইত্যাদি বাক্যাংশে সাধারণ। ‘interpretations’ (মৌখিক অনুবাদ) সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না। প্রায়ই ‘translations of’ + উৎস হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
