Definition

何かを強く踏むこと、または他人の気持ちや権利、考えを無視したり軽視すること。

直接的な踏みつけの意味もあるが、比喩的に誰かの権利や気持ちを傷つける時によく使う。例：'trample on someone's feelings' は感情を無視する意味。
