تستخدم غالبًا في العلوم لوصف حركة الأجسام، وأيضًا مجازًا لمسارات الحياة أو المهنة. الجمع شائع لوصف عدة أشياء أو أشخاص. تعبيرات شائعة: 'flight trajectories', 'life trajectories'.
