Hem fiziksel hem mecaz anlamda kullanılır: 'don't touch' (dokunma), 'a touch of salt' (az miktar tuz), 'be in touch' (iletişimde kalmak). 'tap' (hafifçe vurmak) veya 'feel' (hissetmek) ile karıştırmayın.
