Definition

토르티야는 옥수수 또는 밀가루로 만든 얇고 둥근 빵으로, 멕시코와 중앙아메리카 요리에 자주 사용된다.

스페인식 오믈렛이 아닌 멕시코식 빵을 의미한다. 'corn tortillas', 'flour tortillas' 같이 자주 쓰이며, 타코, 부리토, 케사디야 등에 사용된다.
