土地の地形や特徴、たとえば丘や谷、川などの自然な形や配置を表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に地理や地質、地図作成で使われます。人が作った構造物ではなく自然の地形だけに使います。『mountainous topography』『study the topography』のような表現で使うことが多いです。
