Definition

幼児とは、歩き始めて間もない1歳から3歳くらいの小さな子どもです。

主に1〜3歳の子どもに使い、日常会話や育児でよく登場します。'幼児用靴' のように使いますが、赤ちゃんや幼稚園児には使いません。
