अक्सर छोटे बच्चों के लिए प्रयोग होता है, पर कभी-कभी बड़ों या जानवरों के लिए भी प्यारे अंदाज़ में इस्तेमाल होता है। कुछ गैर-औपचारिक, मासूमियत और मस्ती का भाव देता है।
