এটি ফর্মাল লেখালিখিতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'unless evidence to the contrary' বা 'to the contrary, ...'। 'on the contrary' এর সঙ্গে বিভ্রান্ত করবেন না।
